Our employability team in central region are going from strength to strength helping people hundreds of people across Kidderminster, Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Redditch and Worcester to build confidence, skills and move into work.

Restart Scheme

Intensive support designed to help people into sustained work. We support with building employability skills (CVs, interview skills, job searching), identifying training needs, signposting to wellbeing provision and much more.

Digital Workshops (Restart Scheme)

Exclusive to Restart Scheme, training for people looking to gain basic IT skills. You will gain knowledge on the following:

Basic Digital Skills

  • Understanding Basic Device Operation
  • Understanding the Desktop / Home Screen
  • Understanding Files, Folders and Shortcuts / Apps
  • Understanding and Using the Internet
  • Using Email Basics

 

National Careers Service

Supporting of all ages, both in and out of work, whatever the stage in your career, the National Careers Service are here to help!

We offer free, impartial information, advice and guidance to help you plan the next steps and progress your career. Our careers advisers are highly qualified and experienced. We also work with employers to help them upskill and develop their workforce. 

How to refer to the service You can refer yourself to this service. Simply visit Careers advice – job profiles, information and resources | National Careers Service. National Careers Service is available to everybody, there is no eligibility criteria.

NEW – Engage Bromsgrove (starting April 2024)

Seetec will work to engage with people furthest from the job market, including people who are  economically inactive and face social exclusion. 

We will be providing a number of activities to help the local community, including job clubs, social clubs, volunteering signposting, self-employment, skills bootcamps, apprenticeships, employability training and more.

NEW – Worcestershire Futures in Bromsgrove (starting April 2024)

Seetec will work with 16–24-year-olds to help them into jobs and training.

Health and wellbeing online workshops

Every Thursday 10.30am – 11.30am on Microsoft Teams. Our sessions include the following:

Bromsgrove Job Club

Every Wednesday 10am-12pm at Bromsgrove Library, B61 8DA

We can help you build confidence, skills and feel good about looking for a job. Come along to speak with our team an in informal, warm, non-judgemental and super-friendly environment.
